Im having a proble.. solo w/me beach farming. I am new to this. I am using a build i got somewhere on the forums, but i cant find it due to search button not wrking, so excuse my question..
I can handle the driftwood perfectly, but i am having a problem at the spiddrs, is it just me or do they heal themselves? any tips on how to kill them quickly aswell as how to pull only about 3 or 4 out. I always seem to pull about 10+ out of the cave and i can never seem to kill any of them... TIPS PLEASE! I am using a sword, 20/20 sundering swrods +1. I kill the driftwood very fast, just the spiders give me trouble. TY !!! |

Healing Prob - Healing Spring
To stop it, When you see them using healing spring, Hit them. It interepts easy. So a hit should do it. Btw If you have problems doing this i recommend going to the build section, And finding the build. In fact heres a link to a W/X one that seems to have many posts : http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=77852 HF |

The spiders don't use healing spring if you stand in melee range of them.

You have to look out for how they are grouping, if there is more than 2 next to each other then you wont be able to outdamage their healing springs. Try to split them up a bit more.
(shouldnt this be in the farming section?) |

a key to that is to use a bow for pulling, shoot one run back a little out of aggro, shoot again. this way you can pull them usually in groups of two or three. Look under the W/X spider farming build that Racthoh posted on these forums. The sword build works very well against the spiders and ive only ran into the mass pull once or twice where i couldnt outdamage the healing.

the problem you're having is not spacing them out enough and your positioning. the spider you are attacking won't cast a healing spring, but if there is a spider close to it but isn't in melee range of you, that one will cast healing spring. so, your target will be healed by the other spider's spring. a good thing to do is to position yourself so that you are next to any adjacent spiders so that none of them will cast spring.
just be glad that they updated it and made this run a lot easier. before, the spiders would cast healing spring even when you were next to them. you had to carefully watch each of them and tactfully switch targets to interrupt springs. =P |

Make sure when you attack the spiders you don't take on more than 2 at a time.
Also, when you are attacking a group of 2, and you notice that one has used healing spring, attack the other one. Melee attacks prevent the spiders from using it, so if you simply wait out the first one and prevent the second, your damage should eventually get through. |
